TIMELESS STYLE
Built in 1910, The Manor House is one of five Boxley family homes built in Roanoke, Virginia between 1890 and 1920. As the owners of the area stone quarries, the Boxley's were a prominent Roanoke family at the turn of the century. This particular estate was built for one of the Boxley sons as a wedding present. Its construction commenced at the time of his marriage in 1909, and was completed by the couple’s return from their year-long around-the-world honeymoon trip. The estate consists of The Manor House, The Carriage House, and The Gardener's Cabin — all of which are original and have been recently restored. Today, another local Roanoke family, has taken ownership of the Manor and plan to continue allowing the community to enjoy the tranquility of the space.
