Wedding Venue Packages in Roanoke VA: What to Compare Before You Book
When couples compare all-inclusive wedding venues in Roanoke, VA, the phrase can hide more than it explains. One venue may bundle catering and coordination. Another may include lodging, florals, entertainment, and rentals. A third may simply offer a convenient venue package with optional vendor referrals.
The useful question is not, “Is it all-inclusive?” It is, “What is included, what remains our responsibility, and does the arrangement fit the way we want to plan?”
Start With the Written Scope
Ask every venue for a current written list of inclusions, exclusions, timing, guest-count limits, and optional upgrades. Confirm who provides each service, who signs each contract, when deposits are due, and what happens if a vendor becomes unavailable. A clear package should make decisions easier without making the details harder to see.
Common categories to compare include:
Venue access hours and event end time
Ceremony and reception spaces
Tables, chairs, setup, and breakdown
Getting-ready rooms and lodging
Planning or day-of coordination
Catering, bar service, florals, music, and rentals
Rehearsal or secondary-event access
Cleanup time and overtime charges
Those details matter more than the label attached to the package.
Bent Oaks Manor’s Current Wedding Experiences
Bent Oaks Manor does not currently offer an all-inclusive wedding package. Instead, couples choose from four venue experiences with clear boundaries and can plan vendors separately.
Elopements
Elopements are available Monday through Thursday in a two-hour window: 9–11 a.m., 1–3 p.m., or 5–7 p.m. The $300 experience is for fewer than 10 people total. It includes one second-floor room for getting ready, on-site cocktail tables, 10 chairs, and a mini cake from Dessert Bar.
Micro Weddings
The $2,000 Micro experience is for 40 guests or fewer and runs from noon to 10 p.m. Events are held indoors; outdoor areas may be used for photos only. Setup and breakdown are included. Rehearsal and getting-ready space are not included.
A getting-ready add-on is available for $500 and provides access to the Loft at 8 a.m. along with earlier setup access. Couples who need cleanup time through 11 p.m. may add an hour for $200, with a staff member remaining on site.
Single-Day Full Weddings
The Single-Day Full experience is $4,500 during peak months and $4,000 during off-peak months. It is designed for couples who want the property for a full wedding day without booking the complete weekend.
Weekend Full Weddings
The Weekend Full experience is $7,000 during peak months and $6,500 during off-peak months. It provides the broader wedding-weekend format for couples who want more time at the property.
Peak months are March through June and September through October. Off-peak months are November through February and July through August. Micro pricing does not change by season.
Secondary events may be held at the property when permitted by the selected experience, but Bent Oaks Manor does not set up secondary events. Confirm access, timing, and responsibilities in writing before making plans.
Compare the Venue, Not Just the Package
A long inclusion list cannot make up for a venue that does not fit your guest count, weather plan, photos, accessibility needs, or preferred flow. During a tour, walk through the day in order: arrival, getting ready, ceremony, cocktail time, dinner, dancing, and departure. Ask where vendors load in, where personal items are stored, how guests move if it rains, and who is responsible for the final reset.
For some couples, a large vendor bundle is worth the reduced coordination. Others prefer a straightforward venue experience and the freedom to choose their own team. Neither approach is automatically better. The right choice is the one whose scope, price, and responsibilities are clear before you sign.
